His journey began with a desire to challenge the status quo, to prove that companies could be successful and have a lasting, positive impact on society. Nathan’s commitment to cultivating purpose-driven workplaces and empowering leaders to align profit with purpose has been the foundation of B Local Georgia’s success.
Throughout his career, Nathan has emphasized that profit and purpose are not mutually exclusive — they are deeply intertwined. His social impact consulting business, Profitable Purpose Consulting, helps companies do well by doing good, designing social impact strategies that resonate with employees and customers.

In March 2023, Nathan took his message even further with his TEDx talk, “Reimagining Capitalism Through Purpose, With Purpose, & On Purpose”, where he eloquently laid out a future vision for capitalism — one that lifts up all stakeholders, not just shareholders. His talk is a call to action for leaders everywhere: to be bold, be intentional, and to use their businesses as engines of positive change.

Today, Nathan continues to lead B Local Georgia with the same energy and enthusiasm that first sparked its creation back in 2018. He remains deeply committed to fostering community among Georgia’s B Corps and expanding the reach of the “Business For Good” movement across the region through his annual conference, BLD Southeast.
