Become part of Georgia’s B Corp community

One path, start to certified — the assessment, the legal step, and the people in Georgia who will help you get there.

Why Join

What membership does for you

Visibility

Your logo and story in front of Georgia’s purpose-driven audience — on the member directory, at events, and in our channels.

Community

Events, peer intros, and people who’ve done the assessment before you and will tell you how it really went.

Credibility

Stand with the state’s certified leaders — membership signals your commitment before a customer reads a word.

Momentum

Awards, campaigns, and press that lift every member — including the Good Business Awards each fall.

How It Works

Three steps to certified

1

Take the B Impact Assessment

Free, confidential, and the honest mirror every certified company started with. Measure your impact on workers, community, environment, and customers.

app.bimpactassessment.net — the official B Lab tool.

2

Make the legal commitment

Update your governing documents to account for all stakeholders, not just shareholders — the structural change that makes the commitment stick.

3

Certify and celebrate

Meet B Lab’s standards, complete the verification process, and sign the B Corp Agreement. Then join the community that’s been cheering you on since day one.

Local Help

You don’t have to do it alone

Consultants

Profitable Purpose Consulting — Georgia’s own B Corp consultancy, founded by our board chair. Full-service help from first assessment to recertification.

Universities

The University of Georgia offers B Corp-focused courses that give student teams the opportunity to support local companies on real-world impact projects.

MBA students participate in the fall, followed by undergraduate students in the spring. Both courses are taught by our very own B Corp consultant extraordinaire, Nathan Stuck.

“B Local Georgia connected me with the MBA program at the University of Georgia. The student team helped me navigate the certification process, complete and submit my assessment, and save an incredible amount of time and money along the way.”
